The Christopher Center is a welcoming memory care community featuring a nurse’s station, sunroom, family-style dining room, and activity room. Memory Care Apartments
Welcoming, comfortable, safe. The private and semi-private apartments at Valley are designed with our residents in mind. Memory boxes just outside each apartment door help provide familiarity and improve recognition by showcasing a resident’s personal photos and mementos. Inside, a simple design, calming colors, and special features offer an environment that is safe for those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia.

The Reflections Memory Care Program at Our Lady of the Valley offers a fresh perspective on memory care. Specialized training, careful selection of caregivers, and a resident-focused approach are hallmarks of the Reflections program.
Employees using the Reflections program are required to complete an intensive 15-hour training course. Individualized resident care plans, the specialized environment of the Christopher Center, and the Daily Fare life enrichment schedule are unique to the Reflections program.
Our team incorporates the most up-to-date therapeutic approaches, including reminiscence, art, music, and pet therapies, as well as sensory stimulation, into daily life. Our goal is to enhance resident engagement, provide opportunities for success based on current abilities, and to build positive relationships among residents, families, and caregivers.
